Ramya Sruthi A(She/her)

Ramya Sruthi is an Expressive Arts Therapy Practitioner (ExAT-P) and a fellow at Pause for Perspective (PFP).

She is also a MBBS Doctor steered towards Mental Health care . Ramya is dedicated to person-centered care , drawing from eclectic approachs. She emphasizes a strength-based approach with Expressive arts Therapy modalities—such as visual arts, drama, dance, music, and writing etc to co-create inclusive,safe spaces for connection and exploration.

Her work delves into the intricate links between mind, body, and community, acknowledging the inherent creativity in every individual.

Ramya values the multifaceted and layered nature of individuals, recognizing that their diverse intersections contribute to their unique identities.

She has worked with young adults, adults , elderly in supporting with anxiety ,self-exploration and expression , navigating interpersonal relationships, building community spaces ,working with loneliness ,grief etc while being trauma sensitive using Intermodal Expressive Arts Therapy.

She hopes to be a continuous learner in co-creating safe spaces while bringing awareness to care practices in a mindful , Queer & neurodiverse affirming ,disability & social justice lens in bridging various intersections as care for everyone. 

Qualifications/Certifications

 PGD in Expressive Arts Therapy from St.Xavier’s college (Autonomous),Mumbai

MBBS, Siddhartha Medical College , Vijayawada (Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences,AP)

Interests: Holistic health literature, Nature exploration, Arts enthusiast

Languages : Telugu ,English ,Hindi 

 

Goal: To be able to create safe ,inclusive ,accessible critical thinking spaces for empowering expression and exploration of holistic well- being through mind body practices .
