Ananya Batra is a Consultant Therapist at Pause for Perspective who thrives on building safe, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic spaces.
Her therapeutic style is rooted in empathy, curiosity and co-exploration, allowing individuals to gently unpack the layers of their inner world at their own pace. Ananya adopts an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and strength-based techniques.
She also brings in a disability-affirming lens to her work, with the intention of making therapy inclusive and accessible to people from all walks of life.
She works with adolescents, young adults, and adults from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
Ananya is especially drawn to the strength and stories people carry, with a deep interest in working with individuals with disabilities, couples and families, and those navigating spaces of self-discovery, whether in sports, academics, or life.
Outside the therapy space, Ananya is a para-national level 10-metre air pistol shooter, having represented at national events and received several accolades. She is also a passionate baker and food enthusiast, curating culinary experiences.
She often brings elements of her interests into the therapy room to help build meaningful, engaging connections with her clients Her vision is to support people in building deeper self-awareness, reconnecting with their inner strength, and engaging with everyday life with intention, joy, and authenticity.
