C. Rachana (She/Her)
Rachana is a fellow at Pause for perspective. She also has an MBBS and MS degree in addition to the Post graduate diploma in counselling psychology. She has been working as a psychotherapist with an embodied social justice stance with an Intersectional lens on diverse privileges and oppressions that show up from individuals identity locations. She has been learning & training as queer affirmative, disability aware, Trauma sensitive, neurodivergent affirmative, anti caste and anti patriarchal mental health professional. Her work is rooted in compassion and empathy and set on intentions of creating safe, reflective and explorative spaces for people and communities. She sees herself as a lifelong learner and seeker of meaning and value in her work. She is keen on integrating techniques of narrative practices and mindfulness into her work. She also works with ACT , SFBT and DBT as crucial tools in her work.
