Nithya is a mental health practitioner dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and empowering therapeutic spaces.
Grounded in relational and psychodynamic frameworks, her work explores the interpersonal dynamics that emerge in the therapy room.
By fostering comfort and safety, Nithya helps clients feel seen, supported, and understood as they navigate their journeys toward self-expression, agency, and development.
With over 500 hours of experience working within therapeutic communities and exploring group dynamics, Nithya brings a psychosociopolitical lens to her practice.
Her approach is deeply informed by a queer-affirmative perspective and her lived experience of navigating mental health systems, which contributes to her compassionate, distress-over-diagnosis approach.
Through her training in Transactional Analysis, Nithya integrates diverse therapeutic modalities, helping clients achieve personal growth, resilience, and lasting transformation while fostering stronger connections with themselves and others. Nithya offers support to clients navigating interpersonal relationships, relationship with self, life transitions, stress, anxiety, and personal growth challenges.
Through this fellowship, she aims to deepen her understanding of neurodiversity, disability justice, and embodied practices, continuing her commitment to creating empowering spaces grounded in inclusion and care.
Qualifications/Certifications
Bachelor’s in Psychology, University of Hyderabad.
Master’s in Psychology, Central University of Karnataka.
Transactional Analysis: 101. Transactional Analysis: Foundation Year.
