The life of a therapist is often the life of a client. Part of the professional responsibility of a therapist is that we continuously stay not only in supervision but also in individual therapy ourselves. It helps us stay close to the unfolding of our own lives and keep this awareness alive to help us boundary with our clients’ lives.

As therapists we are advocates of equality, equanimity and compassion. We are passionate about the work we do and dedicate our lives to inner and outer inquiry. Nida, one of our therapists writes about her experience of one of her sessions here. Just like for all of us, therapy can be both illuminating and painful. With hope that you know therapy is for all here is a piece from her life in sessions as a client.
