She began her career at Adhavan (by Shilpika Turakhia), a reputable institution specializing in providing support to neurodivergent children and adults. She has experience of working with Neurodivergent children, teenagers and adults for three years at ‘Adhavan’. During this period, she not only worked directly with these children but also extended her services to counsel their parents. This experience equipped her with a profound understanding of the unique challenges faced by neurodivergent children and the importance of providing holistic support to both the children and their families. She helps individuals navigate a wide range of concerns including relationship issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and confidence.
Her therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that therapy is a safe and nurturing space for clients to explore their abilities, overcome challenges, and ultimately flourish. Social justice stance further strengthens her practice, as she advocates for equality and inclusivity in therapy. She recognizes the impact of societal and systemic factors on mental health and advocates for fairness and justice within the therapeutic space.
She firmly believes that each individual has a story or reason behind their actions. By creating a non-judgmental and empathetic environment, she encourages clients to share their experiences and uncover the underlying factors that contribute to their current concerns.
She places great value on the collaborative nature of therapy, acknowledging that she learns from every client she works with. She recognizes that every individual possesses a unique perspective, and through active listening and mutual respect, she cultivates an atmosphere of shared learning and growth. This belief not only fosters a sense of empowerment in clients but also ensures self-discovery and personal development.
