Ms. Ruhi Sameena

I am a certified counselor at Pause for Perspective. I’ve been in the field- learning and gaining experience for over five years and in this time I have only reinforced my passion for helping people lead more wholesome lives. Currently, I offer one-on-one counseling sessions for adults and children who feel adrift, are dealing with any form of crisis and need help managing general and clinical concerns in order to reach their true potential.

I have a BA in Psychology from Osmania university and PG Diploma in Child Psychology from Osmania university and currently pursuing MA in Clinical psychology.

I am additionally trained as a Mindfulness therapist, from Pause for Perspective and Ottawa Mindfulness Clinic and i have also been trained under Energia- well being as a proficiency in the understanding and use of The Structure of Intellect Theory, which provides opportunities to children to develop into confident,competent adults by strengthening important developmental areas.

I often incorporate different therapeutic techniques like CBT, Mindfulness, Client-centered, Solution focused therapy and others in sessions to accommodate for each individual client.

In my experience I have seen clients with general concerns like Stress, Peer pressure, overthinking,relationship issues, lack of Self esteem and also clients with more clinical concerns like anxiety, depression, self-harm and Transgender. I have worked extensively with children as well and have experience working with children with special needs and also children with cancer; employing both counseling and play therapy techniques with them. I am dedicated to continuously add to my knowledge and skill set so that I can provide the best for my clients.

I have a BA Honours in Psychology from Christ University, Bangalore and a PG Diploma in Psychological Counseling from St Francis College, Hyderabad. I am additionally trained as a Mindfulness therapist, from Pause for Perspective and Ottawa Mindfulness Clinic. I often incorporate different therapeutic techniques like Client-centered, CBT, Mindfulness and others in sessions to accommodate for each individual client.

In my experience I have seen clients with general concerns like procrastination, overthinking, stress, relationship issues, lack of motivation and also clients with more clinical concerns like anxiety, OCD, depression, self-harm and suicidal ideation. I have worked extensively with children as well and have experience working with children with special needs and also children with cancer; employing both counseling and play therapy techniques with them. I am dedicated to continuously add to my knowledge and skill set so that I can provide the best for my clients.

Mrs. Sneha Khelani

I am Sneha Khelani, apart from being a certified counselor, I have 10+ years of work experience in voice and back office BPO operations. This experience have helped me connect with people around the world and helped me learn human behavior, empathy and multi cultural differences in individuals. My psychology and counseling diploma helped me polish my silks and eventually gave me an opportunity to work with Pause for Perspective under the expert guidance of Aarathi Ma’am. I love helping people and creating a positive difference in their lives. Working here not just broadens my horizon, but helps me do exactly what I yearn for, that is playing my part in this world by being able to help those when need us the most.

I’m a fun loving person with full of happiness and a desire to spread love and happiness around the world. Pause for Perspective is a new positive perspective of my life and I’m proud to be part of it!
