Counselling Psychologist at Pause for Perspective

  • Training in Narrative, Mindfulness and Imago Relationship therapies.
  • She has attended workshops on Transaction Analysis, Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, MBTI and Alternate Therapies.
  • She has also conducted mental health awareness programs in schools, colleges, women’s group and organizations. Also, worked as a counsellor in a women’s welfare association helping young under privileged women. 

Her therapeutic approach includes combination of different therapies: Narrative, Person centered, Inner child, Imago, Mindfulness and CBT.

She brings into therapy a sense of openness, empathy and compassion. She operates with a narrative stance of, “Problem is the problem, the people are not the problem.” To empower clients in re-writing their own story.

She works with clients with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, abuse, suicide, self harm, issues related to self – image, esteem and existential crisis.

Her experiences with different clients and workshops have transformed her to be a person who is compassionate, non-judgmental and accepting.
